      SOLUTION: This reinforcing bar binding machine is provided with a control means for reading a set position of a motor driving adjusting dial and a condition of a trigger lever when turning on a power supply switch and driving a binding wire cutting mechanism for predetermined number of times when the motor driving adjusting dial is at a specific set position and the trigger lever is on for warming-up. By performing warming-up operation in cold environment, viscosity of grease applied on a mechanism part is reduced to perform work in the same way as warm environment without wasting a binding wire.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive reinforcing-bar binder of a simple structure, which surely identifies a type of a wire reel and can automatically adjust a feeding quantity of the wire wound around the wire reel or a torsional torque.
      SOLUTION: The reinforcing-bar binder 1 is to feed a wire 8 by rotating the wire reel 30 loaded in a storage chamber 70 to bind reinforcing bars 3. In the storage chamber 70, a first detecting means 80 for detecting a rotation quantity of the wire reel 30 and a second detecting means 25 for detecting the number of the second detected part 53 of the wire reel 30 over the rotation quantity detected by the first detecting means 80 are provided. The binder body 2 is provided with a controlling means for controlling the feeding quantity of the wire 8 and the torsional torque of the wire 8 according to the number of the second detected part 53 detected by the second detecting means 25.

A binding-wire feeding mechanism makes a wire W wound around a reinforcing bar S; the wire W is held by an end of the device 25; and after that, the shift mechanism makes the device 25 retreat so as to impart a tension to a wire loop. A twisting motor 21 makes the device 25 rotated, and the shift mechanism makes the device 25 advance to make the wire W twisted. Twisting of the wire W under the tension stabilizes the reinforcing-bar binding strength of the wire loop.

    • A rechargeable electric tool includes a warning device which monitors a voltage of a power source battery and indicates a warning by means of an LED or a buzzer when the power source voltage is reduced to be equal to or lower than a reference voltage. The tool is configured such that, even when the warning is indicated, a control to interrupt a power supply to a motor is not performed, thereby enabling a usual operation in response to an activating operation on a trigger switch. Thus, an operation can be carried out even when the warning is indicated by a voltage reduction under a low temperature, and usability and working efficiency are improved as compared with a configuration where the power supply to the motor is interrupted at the time when the warning is indicated. Moreover, in a case where it is determined that a memory effect is generated in the battery, the activating operation can be repeated until the activation of the motor is disabled after voltage warning, whereby the battery can be fully discharged to a level equal to or lower than a discharge end voltage to eliminate the memory effect.
