摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a phenolic resin-mixed sheet preferable as a material for production of a gasket applied to heat resistant equipment by adding a cationic acidic substance as a fixing agent, neutralizing the remaining acid after fixing the phenolic resin and making a phenolic resin-mixed sheet. SOLUTION: This phenolic resin-mixed sheet is obtained by following steps; a cationic acidic substance such as aluminium sulfate or a chitosan solution is added as a fixing agent to a paper stock obtained by mixing an emulsion of phenol resin with a slurry of Kraft pulp made from coniferous trees, broadleaf trees or the like, the remaining acid after fixing the above-mentioned phenol resin is neutralized with an alkaline material such as sodium hydroxide so as to adjust to pH 6-10 and, thereafter, the phenolic resin-mixed sheet is formed.

SOLUTION: A paper stock is prepared by adding and mixing a prescribed amount of an anionic resol type phenol resin emulsion to a pulp slurry, and further formulating 0.1-5.0wt.% chitosan aqueous solution based on the amount of the phenol resin as a fixer therewith. The objective phenol resin mixed papermaking sheet is obtained by performing papermaking of the paper stock, and a heat resistant gasket is obtained by performing a stamping method, etc., of the obtained sheet.

A gasket for a heat resistant device is produced by using the mixed papermaking sheet.

An adding amount of the inorganic material is 20-50wt.% calcium carbonate and 2-10wt.% 'SANPI' based on total weight of the flameproof paper to reduce a using amount of the flameproof agent.

A variety of strength controllers, an extending agent such as an inorganic powder or the like, and a dye/pigment may be mixed into the sheet. The film may be uniaxially oriented, biaxially oriented, or non-oriented. True flexural rigidity less than a specified value makes pasting to a skin difficult and too high flexural rigidity increases stimulation to the skin and causes curling. Thus stimulation, curling or the like can be prevented.
