    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply including multiple valve elements and a fuel supply device whose operation resistance to attachment and/or detachment of the fuel supply is increased.SOLUTION: A cartridge 725 comprises a slide gate 746 configured to cover a valve element 726 or a sensor/protrusion 740, or both of them. The gate 746 is loaded with a spring 748, the gate 746 is biased to a coating position. The gate 746 becomes movable to an opening position prior to insertion of a cartridge 725 into a container 730. This enables exposure of the valve element 726 or sensor/protrusion 740. The gate 746 can be made to be opened by a user or with other force such as magnetic or electric force.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system comprising a fuel supply device for a fuel cell with higher operational resistance, which prevents unintended user operations.SOLUTION: The system is realized by providing fuel supplies including multiple valve components 140, and by increasing operational resistance to the insertion and/or removal of the fuel supplies.
