摘要：本发明公开了一种颞颌关节分离帽及其固定方法，其由分离帽头和固定柄两部分组成；固定柄设置于分离帽头下部并与分离帽头连接，分离帽头为开口向下的圆球型凹槽结构或椭圆球型凹槽结构，在固定柄上均匀设置有1～6个螺钉固定孔。本发明可以有效将颞肌关节窝和下颌关节分离开，不需要截除下颌关节头及下颌骨组织，手术创伤小，便于患者术后康复。由于本发明中颞颌关节分离的厚度仅有0.1mm～0.6mm，所以能够有效减少患者的不适，提升咬合关系的稳定性，克服了现有技术中颞颌关节需要永久植入，替代原有骨组织的状况。颞颌关节强直治愈后，可以考虑将本发明中的颞颌关节分离帽拆除，从而能够有效避免给患者造成永久性损伤。

摘要： The present invention provides integration between an implant system and therapeutic agent delivery system. The implant may include a prosthesis that restores biomechanical function while decreasing long-term disability and pain by replacing damaged or degenerate tissues, or a reconstructive implant such as a bone plate. The therapeutic agent delivery system may include one or more channels either permanently or reversibly attached to the implant. The channels may receive medication from an external pump via a percutaneous catheter. The channels deliver the medication to one or more medicating surfaces of the implant to treating proximate tissues.

摘要： The present disclosure provides intramedullary mandibular implants for the temporomandibular joint. The mandibular implants include a stem portion, a collar portion and a head portion. The stem, collar and head portions may be integral. The stem portion may define an inferior end and the head portion may define a superior end of the implants. The head portion may be arcuate in the sagittal plane to provide an articulating surface with a fossa or a fossa component. The collar portion may be intermediate of the head and stem portions and form a channel between an interior surface of the collar portion and an exterior surface of the stem portion. In use, the stem portion may be implanted within a condyle of a mandible such that an end portion of the condyle is situated within the channel of the implant and the head portion articulates with the fossa or fossa component.

摘要： The presently disclosed technology is directed towards an adjustable prosthesis for replacing a mandible along with the ramus with a mandibular condyle. The prosthesis articulates to the skull at the temporal bone region. The prosthesis, of embodiments of the disclosed technology, has a horizontal/sagittal (or generally horizontal) and/or vertical (or generally vertical) adjustment screw which is accessible after implantation. In one embodiment, the adjustment screw is accessible by way of using a tool and rotating an adjustment rod. The adjustment rod is accessed via a sub-periosteal intra-oral incision, through points in the oral cavity post-surgical placement. The adjustment rod allows the length of the device, both a horizontal portion and vertical portion, to be adjusted post-placement.
