摘要： A low noise oscillator is disclosed wherein the collector and base of a transistor are respectively biased at different voltages from a common voltage source to be conditioned for generating a high frequency oscillation with a resonant circuit connected to the emitter and collector. The high frequency oscillation developed at the base of the transistor is coupled to ground. A capacitive circuit is coupled between the collector and base of the transistor to eliminate the effect of a voltage-dependent capacitance inherently present in the transistor between its collector and base on the frequency of the oscillation in order to reduce the level of noise introduced to sidebands.

摘要： An oscillator circuit suitable for use in a local oscillator of a tuner of a television receiver set. A feedback circuit comprised of a feedback capacitor (17) is connected between a junction of a tuning diode (10) and a correcting capacitor (11) connected in series therewith and the emitter of an oscillation transistor (1). Oscillation voltage developing across the correcting capacitor is fedback to the emitter of the oscillation transistor through the feedback capacitor. When the tuning diode is conditioned to have a large capacitance value, a large oscillation voltage is fedback to the transistor through the feedback capacitor whereas when the tuning diode is conditioned to have a small capacitance value, a small oscillation voltage is fedback to the transistor through the feedback capacitor. The oscillator circuit continues to oscillate stably over a wide frequency range whenever the tuning diode changes from the small capacitance value to the large capacitance value or vice versa.

摘要： The present invention provides nanostructured MOS capacitor that comprises a nanowire (2) at least partly enclosed by a dielectric layer (5) and a gate electrode (4 ) that encloses at least a portion of the dielectric layer (5). Preferably the nanowire (2) protrudes from a substrate ( 12). The gate electrode (4) defines a gated portion (7) of the nanowire (2), which is allowed to be fully depleted when a first predetermined voltage is applied to the gate electrode (4). A method for providing a variable capacitance in an electronic circuit by using such an nanostructured MOS capacitor is also provided. Thanks to the invention it is possible Io provide a MOS capacitor having an increased capacitance modulation range. It is a further advantage of the invention to provide a MOS capacitor which has relatively low depletion capacitance compared to prior art MOS capacitances.

摘要： A voltage-controlled oscillator has a tuned circuit for controlling the oscillation frequency. The tuned circuit has a variable-capacitance element whose capacitance varies in response to a control voltage and a negative capacitance circuit whose impedance frequency characteristics have opposite characteristics to those of a normal capacitance, and which is connected to the variable-capacitance element. The configuration enables increasing the variation ratio corresponding to the control voltage of the combined capacitance composed of the variable-capacitance element and negative capacitance circuit, thereby broadening the oscillation frequency band.
