摘要： A web of thermoplastic material extruded directly into a set of tempering rolls is cooled on its upper and lower surfaces while the interior of the web is kept molten. The partially cooled web is fed onto a conveyor on which it is fed to a thermoformer. The web remains on the conveyor until its surface layer in contact with the conveyor is reheated to a thermoformable temperature below that at which the web will stick to the conveyor. Apparatus for feeding a web of thermoplastic material from an extrusion to a thermoformer includes tempering rolls and conveyor means which can be adjusted in their relative positions and to control the length of conveyor means contacted by the web.

摘要： The invention relates to a plastic-metal composite pipe and a method and a device for producing the same. Said composite pipe comprises at least one plastic inner pipe and a metallic envelope surrounding the same, the inner peripheral surface of the metallic envelope being fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the plastic inner pipe and the metallic envelope consisting of a metal strip. According to the invention, opposing edges of the metal strip are guided over each other in such a way that the metallic envelope is double-layered over its entire periphery or is formed as a double envelope with two superimposed layers. A thermosetting bonding agent or adhesive can be used to create a connection with a material fit. The inventive method is carried out without any welding processes, enabling the composite pipe to be produced more economically, faster and without any defects. This opens up new fields of application, for example for composite pipes with extremely thin-walled metallic envelopes, for example in the field of automobile construction or in the heating or sanitary industry.

The process comprises preparing a solvent casting solution by dissolving a solid thermoplastic polyurethane, at least one isocyanate polyurethane prepolymer, and at least one photochromic compound in a solvent; casting the solution on a surface to form a cast film; evaporating the solvent from the cast film to a substantially dry state to form a photochromic polyurethane film; transfer-laminating the photochromic polyurethane film between two transparent resin sheets; and curing the photochromic polyurethane film, thereby forming a photochromic polyurethane laminate.
