    • The invention relates to an electric lamp comprising at least one high performance LED (2) and a light reflector (1). Heat conducting means (6) are provided between the high performance LED and the light reflector (1) for dissipating the heat generated by the LED (2) in the operating state. A cooling body (64) is arranged adjacent to the LED (2) as a preferably first component (64) of the heat conducting means (6), and a second component (61, 62) of the heat conducting means (6) extends between the cooling body (64) and the light reflector (1). According to an alternative construction, the second component (61) of the heat conducting means (6) comprises a number of bridging elements (61). In another alternative construction, the second component (62) of the heat conducting means comprises an electrically insulating layer (62) which is provided separately or is part of the light reflector (1) and/or the cooling body (64). The power of the LED (2) is supplied via a printed circuit board (3), or it is possible to use the cooling body (64) and the light reflector (1) as the two poles for the power supply of the LED (2).
