SOLUTION: When the whole body of the pressure vessel section of a gas container A is twisted with hands, after part of a locking projection (c) is inserted into a locking projection receiving section 15 until the front end of the projection (c) reaches the rear surface side of the section 15, and the whole top face of the projection (c) is brought into contact with the main body 21 of a rotating section 1 by aligning the top face with the locking project receiving section 14 of a notch (d) at the time of attaching the container A to a gas appliance, the projection (c) is put in the locking projection receiving sections 14 and 15 and the rotation of the container A is limited in the allowable moving range a pin 3 in a long hole 23, namely, to the movement of the pin 3 from one end to the other end of the hole 23. When the hole 23 has a circular arc of, for example, a quarter circumference, consequently, the container A is turned by 90 deg.. Therefore, the container A is maintained in an attached state at the position which is separated from the attaching and detaching position of the container A by the angle of 90 deg..

SOLUTION: This is equipped with a valve body which has a valve mechanism for opening and closing a gas passage and is provided with a bomb engagement part where the step 106 of a gas bomb is engaged directly, an operation member which drives the valve mechanism to switch the opening/closing condition of the gas passage, a safety lever 92 which is arranged corresponding to the bomb engagement part and is rotated between the first position to enable the mounting of the gas bomb 5 and the second position to disable it by the operation means, and an elastic means 93 which gives the safety lever 92 the block peculiarity of the bomb engaging part, with its elasticity energized in condition that the safety lever 92 is set in the first position. By this constitution, the mounting of the gas bomb 5 is disabled by the safety lever 92 blocking the bomb engagement part, in condition that the valve mechanism is open.
