摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically reduce power consumption while ensuring illuminance and a visual guidance effect required for a person to safely pass a passage, in a luminaire installed generally along a passage. SOLUTION: This luminaire 1 is provided with: a main illumination lamp 2 comprising a discharge lamp for irradiating a passage with light; a human sensor 3 sensing the presence of a person; and a visual guidance lamp 4 comprising an LED lamp for emitting light in a direction generally along the passage. When a person is not sensed, the main illumination lamp 2 is extinguished and the visual guidance lamp 4 is lit; and, when a person is sensed, the main illumination lamp 2 is lit. Thereby, when no person is present in the vicinity of the luminaire, a visual guidance effect is ensured while restraining power consumption by lighting the LED lamp; and, when a person is present in the vicinity of the luminaire 1, illuminance required for the passer to safely pass the passage can be ensured by lighting the discharge lamp.
