摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp capable of attaining easy manufacturing.SOLUTION: The lamp 1 is provided with a light-emitting section, a long tube 40 for housing the light-emitting section, and a pair of lids 50, 60 which are respectively installed on the both end parts in longitudinal direction of the tube 40. Then, the first lid 60 has a main part 52 formed in bottomed cylindrical shape and a sub part 53 which is formed in cylindrical shape and extended from the inside of the cylinder of the main part 52. The sub part 53 consists of a first portion 53a which has an outline dimension of the inner dimension or less of the surface orthogonal to the center axis of the tube 40 at the end part of the tube 40 and a second portion 53b having an outline dimension larger than the inner dimension of the surface orthogonal to the center axis of the tube 40 at the end part of the tube 40. It is possible that the second portion 53b is elastic deformed so that it may be smaller than the inner dimension of the tube 40, and in the state the second portion 53b is elastic deformed, it is inserted into the tube 40, and by a restoration force, pressure-contacts the inner circumference of the tube 40, thereby, the first lid 50 and the tube 40 are connected.

摘要： A low voltage display lamp (10) is provided for use in standard threaded lamp sockets. The lamp (10) has a heat shield (22) to reflect infrared radiation (IR) away from the ballast (30) to reduce the ballast's (30) operating temperature. The surface (23) of the heat shield (22) is optically curved to direct the reflected IR back through the front of the lamp (10) such that it exits through the transparent cover rather than being reflected into the lamp housing (40).
