摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route search system capable of reducing the possibility to select a route which runs a segment identical to a previously set route as an initial route.SOLUTION: The route search system obtains a piece of information on an existing route which represents a previously set route R from a present point P to a destination G. A segment from the present point P to a point away therefrom by a specified distance dcloser to the destination G is specified as a specified segment D. A segment, which begins from the first intersection viewed from the present point P as the start intersection I, is set as a first bypass segment Q. A correction ratio for correcting the route search cost for searching the first bypass segment Q is set as a first correction ratio for increasing route search cost. A correction ratio for correcting the route search cost for searching a second bypass segment W which is a segment excluding the first bypass segment Q in the specified segment D is set as a second correction ratio which is smaller than the first correction ratio and which increases the route search cost. The route search costs for establishing links with the first bypass segment and the second bypass segment respectively are corrected based on the first correction ratio and the second correction ratio. A route which corresponds to link group which minimizes the sum of the route search cost is selected.
