CONSTITUTION:The indicator is prepared by placing a sublimating substance 1 on a support 2 which serves as gas barrier layer and sealing it with a see- through film 3 which allows permeation of gas of the sublimating substance 1. The film 3 is covered with a gas barrier layer 4 to prevent escape of sublimated gas, which is peeled off just before use of the indicator. The indicator is useful for insecticidal sheet prepd. by impregnating paper with insecticide, refrigerator deodorant consisting of a container filled with powdered active carbon, etc., of which service life is difficult to measure.
