2 stuck onto unit area of a steel plate surface, is formed on at least one surface of a steel plate. Preferably the repellent includes at least one kind of an insect repellent component consisting essentially of pyrethroid compounds and, if necessary, at least one kind of fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol with boiling point of ≥250°C too. Preferably the repellent is contained by mass of 0.002 to 0.4 g/m
2 stuck onto unit area of the steel plate surface. Thereby the corrosion resistance and the insectrepelling nature toward an insect such as a cockroach can be remarkably improved without lowering processibility and weldability.
