    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor, in which uneven wear of a surface protective layer is suppressed, and which gives an image with suppressed density irregularity.SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a surface protective layer constituted by incorporating a cured product of a composition containing one kind selected from a guanamine compound and a melamine compound, one kind of charge transporting material having one substituent selected from -OH, -OCH, -NH, -SH and -COOH, and an aromatic amine compound (α) having a specified structure, the composition containing the charge transporting material by 90 mass% or more and containing the compound expressed by (α) by 1 mass% or more and 5 mass% or less. In the surface layer, a universal hardness of the surface in a center portion in the axial direction of the electrophotographic photoreceptor is lower than a universal hardness of the surface in both ends in the axial direction of the electrophotographic photoreceptor.
