      SOLUTION: At a root site where a fitting contact portion 12b of a center conductor 12 fixed to an insulating housing 11 is protruded from the surface of the insulating housing 11 in an approximately concentric manner, a collar portion 12c is integrally provided which has a larger diameter than the fitting contact portion 12b. The center conductor 12 including the collar portion 12c is wholly formed in a solid shape to reduce its diameter. With the reduced diameter of the center conductor 12, the size of each of an external conductor 13 and the coaxial electric connector 10 is wholly reduced and pressing and plating manufacturing cost is also reduced, resulting in suitable construction for environmental protection.
