In the method for manufacturing the organic electroluminescent element, the translucent electrode which is a transparent electrode containing at least a metal oxide is fabricated while an oxygen gas mixture ratio in mixed gas comprising inert gas and oxygen gas used in the fabrication is increased at a constant speed.
