    • PURPOSE:To prevent the infection of MRSA in a hospital by coating the outer surface of the top plate of a desk and a table with a resin layer, which includes the germicidal material against MRSA. CONSTITUTION:The top plate 2 is coated with a resin layer 1, which includes the MRSA germicidal material, so as to protect patients from the infection of MRSA. For example, even in the case where MRSA adheres to the top plate 2, which is provided with the resin layer 1, when a medical tool, which is used for medical examination, is placed on the top plate 2 of the desk, since MRSA is immediately sterilized, the secondary infection through the desk is effectively prevented. Since the surface of the desk is a little gradually worn by the frequent touch of doctors and nurses and the new surface is always formed on the desk, extrusion of the MRSA germicidal material onto the resin surface is unnecessary. Consequently, excellent compatibility of the resin with the MRSA germicidal material is desirable. This resin layer 1 is desirably formed to handles 3 of drawers 4, which are used at a high frequency, and the coating of the whole outer surface with this resin layer 1 is most desirable.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a conductive gel excellent in stickiness and shape retention by constituting the conductive gel so that a specific polyfunctional compound is contained in an amount of 2.0-35%. by wt. of a hydrophilic monomer and, further, water, a plasticizer, an electrolyte and a polymerization intiator are contained. CONSTITUTION:The main composition of a conductive gel consists of a hydrophilic polymer, a crosslinking agent, a plasticizer, and an electrolyte and, as the crosslinking agent, a polyfunctional compound with an MW of 400 or more having two or more (meth)acryloyl or vinyl groups is used and the conductive gel is obtained by irradiating a mixture consisting of the polyfunctional compound, the hydrophilic monomer, polyhydric alcohol, the electrolyte and a polymerization initiator with light or heating said mixture. As the hydrophilic monomer, there are vinyl ether, polyethylene glycol monoacrylate and the like and, as the electrolyte, there are lithium chloride, sodium chloride, potassium chloride and the like. As the plasticizer, glycerine and polyhydric alcohol such as glycols are used and a photosensitizer such as amines or a sulfur compound may be added in order to accelerate polymerization reaction. As a result, the conductive gel simultaneously satisfying both of stickiness and shape retention is obtained.
