摘要： PURPOSE:To certainly detect the position of a steel cord, by allowing a detection member having a thin plate shaped leading end part, to which magnetic force has been applied, to approach a ply containing a steel cord to measure attraction force. CONSTITUTION:The detection member 3 of the detection apparatus held to a machine frame 1 in a cantilevered state by a leaf spring 2 is allowed to approach the steel cord-containing ply placed on a table 7. The detection member 3 is made of iron and the lower end part thereof is formed into a thin plate shape like a minus driver and magnetic force is applied thereto by an electromagnet 4. In movement of a machine frame 1 to a left-and-right direction, the detection member 3 is strongly attracted to a downward direction when the leading end part of the detection member 3 traverses the part directly above a steel cord S and the leaf spring 2 is bent to generate large electric output from a strain gauge 5. Because the leading end of the detection member 3 is formed into the thin plate shape, the position of the steel cord can be certainly detected even if there are adjacent steel cords approaching each other.

摘要： PURPOSE:To allow quick floating from the extreme depth by operating thrust generators and a gas generator in response to signals of an attitude sensor and a depth sensor provided on a submerged object. CONSTITUTION:A detection signal is received from an attitude sensor 11, and if a submerged object is facing a direction other than the sea surface, required ones of multiple thrust generators 5 are selectively operated to allow the submerged object to face the sea surface. If the submerged object is facing the sea surface, all thrust generators 5 are operated. Furthermore, a detection signal is received from a depth sensor 12, and a gas generator 15 is operated to fill a buoyancy bag 6 with gas.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of fluid in a flow path while to increase the delivery by fitting a movable block into a choked recess formed with a cylindrical rotary face to be matched with a circumferential rotary face made in the outercircumferential face of rotor. CONSTITUTION:A movable block 7 is provided with a cylindrical outercircumferential face 7b similar with that of a rotor 5 and a cylindrical rotary face 7a having the center at the pivoting point 13 and fitted in a choked recess 5a formed with the cylindrical rotary face 7a matching with a cylindrical rotary face 5b made in the outercircumferential face of rotor 5. Consequently, leakage of fluid in the flow path can be prevented while since a portion of the movable block 7 will pass at the inside of partition block 4, other portion of movable block 7 which has entered into the recess 5a immediately after retraction will move toward the flow path thus to compensate the variation of volume of flow path. Consequently, the push-out volume of following block 7 will scarcely change resulting in increase of delivery per single rotation of rotor 1.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a molten metal well on the inlet side of a casting mold space so that the fluctuation in the rate of pouring is permitted to some extent and the precision is not required in controlling the flow rate. CONSTITUTION:A molten metal 107 carried to the casting device is poured into a tundish 204 and is admitted from a discharge port 205 in the lower part thereof into a molten metal well 203. The molten metal 107 admitted into the well 203 is partly cooled by a belt 101 and flows into a casting mold space through the aperture 105 at the top end of said space while forming a solidified layer 108a. A billet 109 is thus continuously formed. Since the well 203 is provided in the inlet part of the casting mold space in the above-mentioned way, the free surface of the molten metal 107 is taken widely to make the overflow thereof difficult. Some fluctuation in the flow rate of pouring is therefore permitted and the precision of the conventional device is not required for controlling the flow rate.

摘要： PURPOSE:To cast a slab having a prescribed thickness and to obviate formation of flaw on the surface of the slab by providing a stationary casting mold which is so constituted that a lubricant can be supplied in parallel with the sloped plane of an endless belt for casting a slab. CONSTITUTION:A molten metal 7 cooled by a cooler 2 attached to an endless belt 1 moves toward the direction of an arrow 8b and solidifies. The solidified layer arrives at the surface 11a of a stationary casting mold 11 and molten slag 12 is conducted through a hole 11b arriving at the surface 11a from the bottoms of a recess 11c provided in the upper part of the mold 11 to the boundary bebween the surface 11a and the top surface of a slab 8, by which the boundary thereof is lubricated. The slab 8 having a prescribed thickness is thus obtd. and the flaw to be generated on the surface of the slab 9 is decreased.
