    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device which can reduce a rotary torque while securing bearing performance and further suppress grease fluidity nor to mix a grease with a bearing grease.SOLUTION: A seal includes an annular seal plate 16 and a slinger 17, the seal plate 16 including a core metal 18 and a seal member 19, the slinger 17 having a cylindrical part 17a press-fitted in an inner ring 3 and a vertical plate part 17b extended radially outward, and the seal member 19 having a side lip 19a which is in slidable contact with the vertical plate part 17b, and radial lips 19b and 19c which are in slidable contact with the cylindrical part 17a. The wheel bearing device includes the bearing grease filled in the wheel bearing, and the seal grease coated on slidable parts of the seal lips. Both greases are the same in thickener and have worked penetration of 350 or less with a base oil kinematic viscosity at 40°C set to the range of 30-170 mm/s. The base oil kinematic viscosity of the seal grease is set to 70% or less of that of the bearing grease.
