    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for pulverizing plant raw materials that is capable of sufficiently drying a product due to excellence in stability of the particle size of the product even if the plant raw material is pulverized to a particle size of less than 1 mm, and to provide an apparatus therefor.
      SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a vertical roller mill 20 having a crushing means of the plant raw materials 12 and an introduction port 22 of a hot gas 26 so that it carries the crushed materials 28 outside by a hot gas, a bag filter 32 that separates the crushed materials 28 carried from the vertical roller mill 20 from the hot gas, a classifier 36 that classifies the crushed materials separated by the bag filter 32 into a fine powder 42 and a coarse powder 44, a coarse powder returning means to send back the coarse powder 44 classified by the classifier 36 to the vertical roller mill 20 and a product recovery part to recover the fine powder 42 as the product.
