SOLUTION: This low frictional sliding member is provided by being equipped with a hard carbon thin membrane on at least a part of its sliding surface and forming a tribo-film having an ether, oxide and alcohol on sliding by intervening an organic oxygen-containing compound on the hard carbon thin membrane. The tribo-film is formed in a range of within 10 nm depth from the sliding surface of the hard carbon thin membrane. By using such the low frictional sliding member, the low frictional sliding mechanism is obtained by intervening the organic oxygen-containing compound on the sliding surface composed of the low frictional sliding members each other or the low frictional sliding member with a metal member. 摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the magnetic recording medium which is improved in both durability and C/N by disposing a lubricant dispersed with porous fine particles on a ferromagnetic metallic thin film, thereby forming the medium. CONSTITUTION:This medium is constituted by disposing the lubricant 5 dispersed with the porous fine particles 4 on the ferromagnetic metallic thin film 3. Since the movable porous fine particles are interposed between the magnetic head and the magnetic recording medium, the adhesion and wear by direct sliding do not arise and the medium surface is no longer vulnerable to damages. This effect lasts long as the fine particles are porous and sufficiently adsorb the lubricant or reactively occlude the same; in addition, the lubricating effect of the porous particles is good and, therefore, the reduction of the fine particle size is possible and since the fine particles are not the fixed particles, the fine particles are laterally slidable when subjected to stresses. The effective spacing is thus diminished and the durability is assured; moreover, the C/N is improved.
