摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a material when a dimming hood is manufactured by forming the dimming hood into a specific structure in an incandescent lamp having a glass bulb surrounding a dimming beam filament and a dimming hood. SOLUTION: The glass bulb 1 of this incandescent lamp surrounds a dimming beam filament 6 and a dimming hood 12 partially shielding the filament 6. The dimming hood 12 (made of molybdenum, for example) has a notch 14 for guiding one end section 6a of the dimming beam filament 6 through it, and the filament end section 6a guided through the notch 14 of the dimming hood 12 is welded to a lead 8a. The lead 8a welded to the filament end section 6a guided through the notch 14 is fixed to the back face of the dimming hood 12. The notch 14 is preferably formed by a laser or electron beam.

The lead conductor 15 is formed with a heat-resistant metal wire arranged in parallel to the vertical axis of the lamp bulb 10, which has the bent end joined to the peripheral line of the turn at one end of the filament coil 17 and the opposite unfixed end extended to the outside. The filament coil 17 for the lamp 10 is preferably formed of tungsten. In this way, the control for light output is improved.
