    • A hand brace includes a wrist sheath and a finger holder. The finger holder has a height adjusting rod, a length adjusting rod, and a finger support. The height adjusting rod has one end pivotally connected to the wrist sheath, so that the height adjusting rod is allowed to adapt to a wearer's finger in terms of position. The length adjusting rod is connected to an opposite end of the height adjusting rod in an axially movable manner, so that the length adjusting rod is allowed to adapt to the wearer's finger in terms of length. The length adjusting rod has a joint portion that has pivotal connection with the finger support. Thereby, the hand brace provides the wearer's finger with sufficient and relevant support.

    • Methods and systems for processing a sample of a media stream are provided. In one example, a method includes receiving a sample of a media stream rendered by a media rendering source, and for matching media recordings from which the sample was obtained, the method also includes receiving a signature file including a temporally mapped collection of features describing content of the matching media recordings. Each received signature file may be stored in memory. In addition, a signature stream may be received that includes features extracted from the media stream, and a number of matching features between the signature stream of the media stream and the signature file for at least one matching media recording can be determined. In one example, when substantially matching features between the signature stream of the media stream and the signature file for a matching media recording stop occurring, a discontinuity can be identified.

    • A method of simultaneously providing channel quality feedback information in all valid sub-channels is provided to facilitate and improve the performance of dynamic transmission bandwidth adjustment and fast link adaptation. A receiving device receives a sounding signal over a wide channel in a wireless system. The sounding signal is transmitted from a transmitting device over multiple sub-channels of the wide channel. The receiving device estimates channel quality information based on the sounding signal for each sub-channel. The channel quality information includes estimated average SNR and recommended MCS and other channel quality metrics. The receiving device transmits a feedback message to the transmitting device. The feedback message contains the estimated channel quality information for all valid sub-channels within the transmission bandwidth. The transmitting device performs dynamic transmission bandwidth selection and fast link adaptation based on the channel quality information for all valid sub-channels.

    • Methods and systems for identifying content in a data stream are provided. In one example, a client device receives a continuous data stream and substantially continuously performs a content identification of content in the data stream based on content patterns stored on the client device. The content patterns stored on the client device may include information associated with extracted features of a media file, or a temporally mapped collection of features describing a media file. The client device may determine whether the continuous data stream includes media content, and based on the determination, continuously perform the content identification of content in the data stream at the client device. The client device may query a server to determine an identity of content in the data stream based on receiving an instruction.

Each of the macro-blocks is divided into a plurality of sub-blocks. A meta-block is allocated in each of the sub-blocks. A pixel luminance sum characteristic value for each of the meta-blocks is calculated. A first confidence between a left half and a right half of the single-frame image is calculated according to the pixel luminance sum characteristic values. A second confidence between an upper half and a lower hap of the single-frame image is calculated according to the pixel luminance sum characteristic values. A format of the single-frame image is determined according to the pixel luminance sum characteristic values, and the first and second confidences of the single-frame image.

    • A portable electronic device includes an electronic module and an electronic module fixing structure. The electronic module fixing structure includes a main body, a sliding component, a rod and an elastic component connected between the main body and the sliding component. The main body has a track with a positioning portion. The sliding component is slidably disposed on the main body. The rod is rotatably connected with the sliding component. An end of the rod is adapted to move along the track. When the end is located at the positioning portion, the end and the positioning portion are interfered with each other to position the sliding component. When the electronic module pushes the sliding component, the rod is rotated to drive the end to move away from the positioning portion, and the sliding component pushes the electronic module away from the main body through elastic force of the elastic component.
