摘要： A three-dimensional (3D) video apparatus and a method of providing an OSD object applied thereto are provided. The 3D video apparatus includes an on-screen display (OSD) generation unit which receives an OSD object and generates a reduced OSD object to be displayed on the 3D image on a screen, wherein the reduced OSD object is smaller than the received OSD object. An OSD insertion unit inserts the reduced OSD object into input 3D image data.

The frame interpolating apparatus includes a calculation unit for performing a SAD Map calculation among inputted video signals with respect to a previous frame and a next frame and performing block matching, a determination unit for determining from the block-matched frame whether a video is repeated periodically and is changing fast, and an interpolation unit for selectively calculating a pixel value of an interpolated frame according to a determination result of the determination unit.
