摘要： A technique is described herein for using an optical scanning system to visit points in a field along a scanning path. The scanning path includes consecutive passes, corresponding to time-shifted instances of a same scan pattern. The plural passes visit different sets of points within the field, to provide different respective sparse traversals of the field. When motion occurs, the passes evenly distribute the deleterious effects of motion over the field. This produces motion artifacts that resemble blur. The human eye and image processing systems can more effectively handle the presence of blur compared to the kind of motion artifacts produced by a traditional single-pass scanning operation.

摘要： Results of automatic detection of dirt or other non-steady defects in a sequence of digitized image frames can be unreliable. Here, a determination of a detection of a defective object to be replaced by a replacement pattern in a frame of a sequence of image frames as a misdetection is presented that comprises determining a value of a first similarity measure between a boundary of the detected defective object and a boundary of the replacement pattern and determining a value of a second similarity measure between the detected defective object and the replacement pattern. The detection of the defective object is determined as a misdetection if at least one of the following holds true: the value of the first similarity measure is outside of a corresponding first similarity acceptance range and the value of the second similarity measure is inside of a corresponding second similarity acceptance range.

摘要： An image processing method and device thereof are provided. The device includes a capture device and a processor. The capture device is adopted for receiving a plurality of frames and comparing at least two adjacent frames to obtain an area selection signal according to a differential value there-between. The processor is connected to the capture device for receiving the area selection signal and to separate each of the adjacent frames into at least two areas. Each of the areas of the adjacent frames is performed by an image processing step respectively, and then the images of the areas are combined to obtain a resulted frame.
