摘要： Automatically and repeatedly crawling multiple multimedia websites to identify and collect information about the multimedia content that is available for delivery over the Internet to a client device for playback on a media player operating on the client device. In one embodiment, the method normalizes the collected information by converting the different formats of the collected information into a common format and converting the different nomenclatures of the collected information into a common nomenclature. The method updates an index with the normalized information, and sends a data feed to the client device to populate the user interface on the client device with the normalized information of the index. The user interface allows the user to navigate and select the multimedia content that is available for delivery over the Internet for playback on the media player.

摘要： Methods and systems provide for sharing information between computer networks in which the information to be shared is required at one location (e.g. for the provision of a data-processing service) but is only available at a separate location. The information may be deliberately absent (e.g. for privacy reasons) or may be unavailable as an artifact of the computer network(s) involved. For the provision of a data-processing service, where several different devices on one network may service contiguous requests from a client device on another network according to a load-balancing strategy, data is propagated once only through the service network. Network communication software is subsequently amended to provide the minimal information necessary for a device on the service network to retrieve the information pertinent to the client device and necessary for its service. Therefore, a web-based single sign-on scheme can operate over HTTP to authorize data-processing services, such as web-filtering services.

摘要： A multiple component gasket includes at least one mounting body that is fused to at least one sealing body. The sealing body is softer than mounting body. The sealing body may be an EPDM with the mounting body being a polypropylene. The multiple component gasket is made by preheating the sealing body with an infrared heat lamp and then passing the sealing body over heated pressure roller. The mounting body portion is disposed against an opposing chill roller in a manner such that the two portions directly engage each other. Hot air is forced against the location where the two portions engage each other just before the two portions pass between the two rollers. The combination of the heat and the pressure fuses the sealing body to the mounting body. The resulting gasket fails at the tear strength of the sealing body.

Ambient light levels detected using this model of the characteristic are used to control the display device.

摘要： The invention provides an improved method and apparatus for creating a snapshot of a file system. A “copy-on-write” mechanism is used. The snapshot uses the same blocks as the active file system until the active file system is modified. Whenever a modification occurs, the modified data is copied to a new block and the old data is saved. In this way, the snapshot only uses space where it differs from the active file system, and the amount of work required to create the snapshot is small. A record of which blocks are being used by the snapshot is included in the snapshot itself, allowing effectively instantaneous snapshot creation and deletion. A snapshot can also be deleted instantaneously simply by discarding its root inode.
