    • A liquid crystal display includes: a plurality of gate lines which transmits gate signals having a gate-on voltage and a gate-off voltage; a plurality of data lines which transmits data voltages; a plurality of storage electrode lines which transmits storage signals; a plurality of pixels, wherein each pixel of the plurality of pixels includes a liquid crystal capacitor connected to a switching element and a common voltage, and a storage capacitor connected to the switching element and a storage electrode line of the plurality of storage electrode lines; a gate driver which generates the gate signals; and a plurality of signal generating circuits which generates the storage signals based on at least one control signal and at least one gate signal. The storage signal applied to each pixel has a voltage level which changes after a charging of the data voltage into the liquid crystal capacitor and the storage capacitor.

    • A liquid crystal display includes a first panel, a second panel facing and separated from the first panel, a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first and second panels, a plurality of sensor data lines formed on the second panel, a plurality of variable capacitors of which capacitance thereof is varied by pressure, the variable capacitors connected to the sensor data lines, a plurality of reference capacitors connected to the sensor data lines, and first reset transistors and second reset transistors connected to the sensor data lines and supplying a first reset voltage and a second reset voltage to the sensor data lines at different times, respectively.

    • A display panel includes a lower substrate, an upper substrate and a liquid crystal layer interposed therebetween. The lower substrate is divided into a display region for displaying an image and an adjacent peripheral region, and includes a plurality of pixel parts, a plurality of photo sensing parts, and a reflection preventing layer. The pixel parts are disposed in the display region for forming an image. The photo sensing parts are disposed in the display region for detecting the location of an object placed on or immediately adjacent to a surface of the display panel. The upper substrate faces the lower substrate, and includes a black matrix corresponding to the peripheral region. The reflection preventing layer is disposed in the peripheral region to prevent the black matrix from reflecting light back onto the photo sensing parts and thereby adversely affecting their operation.
