摘要： In a coaxial connector and a board-to-board connector assembly, the coaxial connector includes: a first coaxial connector portion including a first outer conductor, a first inner conductor, and a first dielectric spacer disposed between the first outer conductor and the first inner conductor; a second coaxial connector portion including a second outer conductor, a second inner conductor, and a second dielectric spacer disposed between the second outer conductor and the second inner conductor; and a first elastic element disposed between the first outer conductor of the first coaxial connector portion and the second outer conductor of the second coaxial connector portion. The first elastic element is configured such that the second coaxial connector portion is floatable axially and radially relative to the first coaxial connector portion, and the first elastic element is adapted to form an electrical connection between the first outer conductor and the second outer conductor.

The testing device may simulate various different axial deviations and/or angular deviations of the opposed printed circuit boards, and may be used to test the performance parameters such as low PIM, return loss and insertion loss between the printed circuit boards and the connectors under different axial deviations and/or angular deviations.

摘要： A fixture for testing coaxial connectors for PIM includes: (a) an adapter connector comprising an inner contact; an outer body that circumferentially surrounds and that is spaced from the inner contact, the outer body including an inner ring and an outer ring with a gap therebetween; and a resilient member in electrical contact with the outer body; and (b) a foundation including a fixed sleeve and a biasing member, the biasing member exerting an axial force on the sleeve and the outer body, the biasing member permitting axial and radial adjustment of the outer body and inner contact relative to the sleeve. The gap between the inner and outer rings of the outer body is configured to receive an outer ring of an outer body of a coaxial connector to be tested. The inner ring of the test fixture is located to be radially outward of an inner ring of the outer body of the coaxial connector to be tested. The resilient member is positioned to apply radial pressure to the inner ring of the outer body of coaxial connector to be tested.

The cable connector can gain excellent third order intermodulation performance and high frequency transmission performance.
