Namely, banknote processing device according to the present invention is connected with plural operation devices respectively operated by plural users and processes banknotes based on commands from the users inputted via the operation devices. The banknote processing device includes a conveyance section that conveys the banknotes and plural banknote storage sections that store the banknotes conveyed by the conveyance section. The plural banknote storage sections include: a first dedicated storage section that stores only banknotes processed based on commands from a first user among the plural users; and a second dedicated storage section that stores only banknotes processed based on commands from a second user among the plural users.

摘要： A banknote dispensing/receiving mechanism of a banknote processing device includes a housing and a baffle, the baffle is an elastic retaining piece, the elastic retaining piece has one end fixed with respect to the housing and another end being a free end, and the elastic retaining piece is located in the discharging route of banknotes. When the banknote dispensing/receiving mechanism operates, after the banknotes being discharged by a banknote-dispensing conveying mechanism, the banknotes fall onto the elastic retaining piece, and the elastic retaining piece provides a supporting force for the banknotes. When all the banknotes are discharged, the banknotes are pushed by a banknote pushing plate to apply a pushing force to the elastic retaining piece, and at this moment the elastic retaining piece generates a plastics deformation, which makes the banknotes and the banknote pushing plate pass through the elastic retaining piece together, to further perform subsequent operations.

摘要： A deposit management system is operable responsive to data read from data bearing records. The system is associated with financial funds depositories. Each depository can accept items, such as deposit bags. Each depository includes a bar code reader that can read data from a bar code label that is located on a deposit bag. The system allows merchants to preregister a deposit before performing the deposit. A preregistered deposit is linked with a deposit identifier in a data store. The deposit identifier can be represented in a bar code. If the system determines that a depository read a bar code having a deposit identifier that corresponds in the data store to a preregistered deposit, then that depository is operated to automatically unlock its deposit entry door to permit the deposit. The system also allows merchants to review their deposit history.
