摘要： A magnetic bearing controller for controlling a magnetic levitation motor, the magnetic levitation motor including: a rotor; a pair of electromagnets that causes the rotor to levitate by electromagnetic force; an auxiliary bearing that supports a rotating shaft of the rotor when the rotor is stopped; and a rotor position detector that detects the rotor's position in a levitation direction. The magnetic bearing controller includes an operation current generator that generates an operation current value corresponding to a deviation between a position command value and the rotor's position detected by the rotor position detector. The operation current generator is configured to give a predetermined initial value greater than 0 to the operation current value at a start of levitation for causing the rotor in a state where the rotating shaft of the rotor is supported by the auxiliary bearing to levitate and be positioned at a predetermined target position.

摘要： A power tool is provided including a brushless motor having a stator defining a plurality of phases and a rotor. A power unit is provided including power switches operable to deliver power to the motor. A primary controller is interfaced with the power unit to output drive signals to drive the phases of the motor over a series of sectors of the rotor rotation. The primary controller measures a back-electromotive force voltage of the motor and transitions motor commutation from the present sector to the next sector based in relation to the back-EMF voltage. A second controller is provided to receive at least one of the drive signals, calculate a speed and/or direction of rotation of the motor from the drive signals, and take corrective action to cut off supply of power to the motor if it detects an overspeed condition or incorrect direction of rotation.

摘要： The identification method according to an embodiment is used for an identification device for identifying the type of a brushless DC motor. A brushless DC motor includes an output terminal for outputting a signal. The output terminal is able to output a signal obtained by superimposing signal types. The signal resulting from the superimposition is different depending on the types of brushless DC motors. In the identification method, power is supplied to a brushless DC motor, and the signal resulting from the superimposition that is output from the output terminal of the brushless DC motor is input to an identification device. The signal resulting from the superimposition is separated into signal types, and the separated signals are used to identify the type of the brushless DC motor.

A comparator may be coupled to the PMSM configured to receive and to compare each one of the plurality of sensing signals with a threshold voltage. A rise time measurement circuit may calculate a plurality of rise times using the plurality of sensing signals in response to receiving a signal from the comparator. The rotor-angle estimation circuit may be configured to identify from the plurality of rise times a shortest rise time and a voltage vector corresponding with the shortest rise time and thereby identify the position of the rotor of the PMSM.

The present disclosure further provides a driving method for the single phase motor driving circuit. The single phase motor driving circuit and the driving method thereof has better reliability while ensuring sufficient starting torque.

The control unit is configured detect incorrect rotation of the rotor by applying a first series of voltage pulses to a present sector and a second series of voltage pulses to a previous sector, measuring motor currents associated with the first and second series of voltage pulses, and comparing corresponding motor current measurements to detect a transition from the present sector to the previous sector.
