The advanced catalyst used in diesel engines is a two-way catalyst. The advanced catalyst used in gas engines is a three-way catalyst. In both the two-way catalyst and the three-way catalyst, the at least one nano-particle includes nano-active material and nano-support. The nano-support is typically alumina. In the two-way catalyst, the nano-active material is platinum. In the three-way catalyst, the nano-active material is platinum, palladium, rhodium, or an alloy. The alloy is of platinum, palladium, and rhodium.

摘要： A catalytically active particulate filter is proposed which is suitable for use in an exhaust gas cleaning system for diesel engines. The particulate filter removes diesel soot particles from the exhaust gas and is also effective to oxidize carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons and to convert nitrogen monoxide at least proportionally into nitrogen dioxide. The particulate filter comprises a filter body (3) and two catalytically active coatings (1) and (2) which contain platinum and palladium, or platinum or palladium respectively, wherein the platinum content of the second catalytically active coating (2) is higher than the platinum content of the first catalytically active coating (1).

摘要： Moisture and malodor control systems are disclosed. These systems provide moisture control and the sustained delivery of active volatile compounds for imparting fragrance and controlling malodor within innumerable objects and spaces, such as shoes, gloves, closets, etc. The systems utilize a novel combination of active volatiles contained within a diluent carrier and solid adsorbing compound. In some embodiments, increased release of active volatiles is triggered by the presence of moisture in the target environment. The systems of the invention may further include an accessory component for providing fragrance to the target environment and/or an accessory component for absorbing and removing malodorous compounds from the target environment.
