摘要： A ruthenium-copper (RuCu) nano-sponge (NSP) electrocatalyst for use in the electrolytic reduction of nitrogen to provide ammonia is described. The RuCu NSP can be prepared as a porous nanoparticle comprising a RuCu alloy via facile reduction of Ru and Cu precursors under ambient conditions. Electrodes prepared with surface disposed RuCu NSPs can be used to prepare ammonia from nitrogen with good yields and Faradaic efficiency at room temperature and atmospheric pressure.

The process includes: providing an oxygen-enriched mixture, fuel, feedwater and an additive including at least one of ammonia, urea and a volatile amine to a Direct-Contact Steam Generator (DCSG); operating the DCSG, including contacting the feedwater and the additive with hot combustion gas to obtain a steam-based mixture including steam, CO2 and the additive; injecting the steam-based mixture or a stream derived from the steam-based mixture into the reservoir to mobilize the hydrocarbons therein; and producing a produced fluid including the hydrocarbons.

摘要： In one instance, the seed crystal of this invention provides a nitrogen-polar c-plane surface of a GaN layer supported by a metallic plate. The coefficient of thermal expansion of the metallic plate matches that of GaN layer. The GaN layer is bonded to the metallic plate with bonding metal. The bonding metal not only bonds the GaN layer to the metallic plate but also covers the entire surface of the metallic plate to prevent corrosion of the metallic plate and optionally spontaneous nucleation of GaN on the metallic plate during the bulk GaN growth in supercritical ammonia. The bonding metal is compatible with the corrosive environment of ammonothermal growth.

摘要： The invention related to a material that can stably hold an imide anion (NH2−) therein even in the atmosphere or in a solvent, and a method for synthesizing the material and a use of the material. A mayenite-type compound into which imide anions are incorporated at a concentration of 1×1018 cm−3 or more are provided. The mayenite-type compound can be produced by heating a mayenite-type compound including electrons or free oxygen ions in a cage thereof, in liquefied ammonia at 450 to 700° C. and at a pressure of 30 to 100 MPa. The compound has properties such that active imide anions can be easily incorporated into the compound and the active imide anions can be easily released in the form of ammonia from the compound, and the compound has chemical stability.

摘要： There are provided methods capable of easily and efficiently recovering and recycling ammonia from exhaust gas containing a small amount of ammonia, the exhaust gas being exhausted from a production process of a gallium nitride compound semiconductor. The method of recovering ammonia includes filtering exhaust gas containing ammonia, hydrogen, nitrogen, and a solid compound with a filter to remove the solid compound from the exhaust gas; pressurizing and cooling the filtered exhaust gas with a heat pump to liquefy ammonia contained in the filtered exhaust gas; and separating liquefied ammonia from hydrogen and nitrogen to recover liquefied ammonia. The method of recycling ammonia includes evaporating recovered liquid ammonia; mixing the evaporated ammonia with another crude ammonia to obtain mixed gas; purifying the mixed gas; and supplying the purified gas to the production process of a gallium nitride compound semiconductor.
