The apparatus includes: a storage unit configured to store horn sounds matched to various touch patterns; a touch detection unit equipped in a steering wheel of a vehicle configured to detect a driver's touch; a touch pattern recognition unit configured to recognize a driver's touch pattern detected by the touch detection unit; a controller configured to identify a horn sound corresponding to the touch pattern recognized by the touch pattern recognition unit from the storage unit, and to send it to a horn output unit; which allows a user to control what sounds are output by the horn using nothing more than simple touch gestures. Additionally, the apparatus and method enable a user to produce different horn outputs to correspond to different situations.

    • Disclosed is a system and method for controlling braking of a vehicle equipped with an electronic wedge brake on a driving wheel thereof that receives a torque of a driving motor. The method includes obtaining a driver request to decelerate when a driver engages a brake pedal. A regenerative braking torque, a frictional braking torque of the driving wheel, and a friction braking torque of a coupled driving wheel are obtained from the request in a regenerative braking entrance state. An allowable frictional braking torque is obtained from wheel speed data, and is compared with the frictional braking torque. A compensation frictional braking torque is calculated from the friction braking torque and the allowable frictional braking torque when the frictional braking torque is greater than the allowable frictional braking torque. Braking control of the coupled driving wheel is performed using a torque as a final target torque.

    • Systems and methods for session-aware GTPv2 load balancing are described. In some embodiments, a method may include receiving a first and a second transaction between an MME and an S-GW over an S11 interface of an LTE/SAE network using a control portion of a second version of a GTPv2-C protocol and storing an uplink UP TEId and IP address, a downlink CP TEId and IP address, and an uplink CP TEId and IP address obtained from the first transaction, and a downlink UP TEId and IP address obtained from the second transaction. The method may further include identifying messages between an eNodeB and the S-GW over a direct tunnel using a user portion of a GTPv1-U protocol as belonging to a session in response to the messages including at least one of: the first uplink UP TEId and IP address, or the first downlink UP TEId and IP address.
