摘要： A display apparatus according to one or more embodiments includes an array substrate and an opposite substrate facing the array substrate. Pixels areas are defined in the array substrate, and each pixel area includes a pixel electrode having concave-convex patterns at the edges thereof when viewed in a plan view. The concave-convex patterns vary directions of fringe fields generated from the edges of the pixel electrode, so that an area in which a fringe field is formed relative to one pixel area may be prevented from overlapping with a peripheral pixel area.

Moreover, the pixel electrode has a partitioning member for partitioning the pixel electrode into at least two partitions having portions which do not overlap the drain electrode. The at least two partitions are disposed symmetrically to a reference line equidistant from the plurality of gate lines.

The repair line is formed from a pixel metal layer that is identical to the pixel electrode to be spaced apart from the pixel electrode, and is formed along the first direction to be overlapped with the gate line. Therefore, the repair line may repair electric defects of the gate line.

A pixel voltage of the display panel is reduced by a kickback voltage varied based on a gray scale and induced when the gate signal falls. The kickback voltage compensating part compensates an image control signal externally provided to the kickback voltage compensating part for the kickback voltage to output a data control signal to the data driving part.
