    • A liquid crystal display is provided. The liquid crystal display includes: a first substrate, a first electric field generating electrode which is located on the first substrate and which has a plurality of cut portions, a direction control electrode located on the first substrate and overlapping at least one of the cut portions, a second substrate facing the first substrate, a second electric field generating electrode located on the second substrate and opposite to the first electric field generating electrode. The liquid crystal display further includes a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first electric field generating electrode and the second electric field generating electrode, and a slope member located on one of the first and second substrate and having a ridge and a slope. The ridge corresponds to the direction control electrode.

    • A thin film transistor (TFT) array panel for a Liquid Crystal Display apparatus (LCD) is provided. The TFT array panel comprises a plurality of gate lines, at least one data line intersecting the plurality of gate lines and at least one thin film transistor connected to at least one of the gate lines and the at least one data line. The at least one film transistor comprises a drain electrode. In addition, the TFT array panel further comprises at least one pixel electrode including at least one first subpixel electrode connected to the drain electrode of the thin film transistor and a second subpixel electrode capacitively coupled to the at least one first subpixel electrode. Moreover, the pixel electrode has a partitioning member for partitioning the pixel electrode into at least two partitions having portions which do not overlap the drain electrode. The at least two partitions are disposed symmetrically to a reference line equidistant from the plurality of gate lines.

    • An organic light-emitting substrate includes a base substrate, a gate line, a data line, a bias line, an organic light-emitting diode, a switching transistor, a driving transistor and a repair line. The bias line is spaced apart from the gate line and the data line. The organic light-emitting diode includes a pixel electrode, a common electrode and an organic light-emitting part. The switching transistor is connected to the gate line and the data line. The driving transistor is connected to the bias line, the pixel electrode and the switching transistor. The repair line is formed from a pixel metal layer that is identical to the pixel electrode to be spaced apart from the pixel electrode, and is formed along the first direction to be overlapped with the gate line. Therefore, the repair line may repair electric defects of the gate line.
