摘要： An in-vehicle monitoring system including monitoring cameras and emergency call devices, a display unit, and an information control device, and monitoring inside of a vehicle by using images taken by the monitoring cameras, wherein a table, in which IP addresses of the emergency call devices and IP addresses of the monitoring cameras are stored in association with each other in a one-to-one relationship or a one-to-many relationship, is set in the information control device, and upon receiving a call signal from an operated emergency call device, the information control device specifies an IP address of a monitoring camera corresponding to the operated emergency call device from the IP addresses of the monitoring cameras based on the table, selects imaging data from the specified monitoring camera from pieces of imaging data from the monitoring cameras, and transmits it to the display unit.

摘要： A method and system are provided to obtain, with one or more processors, a speed profile of a vehicle system for a designated route traveled by the vehicle system. The designated route includes a plurality of segments, and the speed profile includes a planned segment speed for each segment. One or more planned segment speeds are identified that correspond to a point of interest, and respective priorities are assigned to the identified segment speeds based on the point of interest forming prioritized segment speeds. First discrete numeral values are displayed on a display, representing the planned segment speeds of the prioritized segments that are within a predetermined distance forward of a motion of the vehicle system. Second discrete numeral values are displayed on the display, corresponding to remaining segment speeds that are within the predetermined distance, until a predetermined threshold of discrete numeral values is reached.

The system links signals along the track directly to assorted operations centers for the transmission of customizable messages. The signal includes a plurality of light emitting diodes within a single flat screen. The screen is adjustable in its viewing patterns and may selectively adjust depending on the type of train approaching, the speed of approach, and current conditions.

摘要： A detection system for a rail vehicle includes a control module, which has a sensor input for receiving a signal from a sensor. The control module is configured to receive the signal and to output information responsive to the signal. In operation, the control module and a sensor are deployed on board the rail vehicle. The sensor is configured to generate the signal responsive to detecting a designated condition on board the rail vehicle. When the condition occurs, the sensor outputs the signal, which is received by the control module. Responsive to the signal, the control module outputs the information, such as communicating information of the signal content to another rail vehicle, or to an off board location. The designated condition may be unauthorized use of a handheld wireless device in a rail vehicle, or intruder entry into an unmanned rail vehicle.

摘要： A multiple direction railroad gate release mechanism which is attached between the mount arms of a railroad gate actuator and a crossing arm to prevent breakage of the crossing arm due to impingement in either a frontal or rearward direction by a vehicle or other outside force. A primary pivot arm assembly allows a released movement of the crossing arm in reaction to frontal impingement and returns the crossing arm to the original and detent position subsequent to an impingement in order to maintain grade crossing protection. Spring assemblies, a shock absorber and a spring centering assembly act to return the primary pivot arm assembly and attached crossing arm to a normal detent position. A secondary pivot arm assembly is secured to the primary pivot arm assembly whereby the secondary pivot arm assembly can act independently of the primary pivot arm assembly to allow released movement and return of the crossing arm in reaction to rear impingement.
