摘要： The object of the invention is a method for the production of foams on silicon basis from polymer mixtures (A) containing silicon, wherein at least one compound (V) is used that contributes to the formation of the polymer network, and which carries at least one alkoxy silyl group of the general formula [1a], [1b], or [1c] ≡Si—O—(R1)(R2)(R3) [1a], ═Si(R5)—O—C(R1)(R2)(R3) [1b], ≡Si—O—C(O)—U [1c], from which upon curing of the polymer mixtures (A) at least one molecule (XY) is split which is gaseous during processing and causes the formation of foam in the polymer mixture (A), and a catalyst (K) selected from a Brönstedt acid, Brönstedt base, Lewis acid, and Lewis base, where R1, R2, R3, R5, and U have the meanings as stated in claim 1, and where polymer mixtures (A) which form SiO2 during the cross-linking process are excluded. The invention further relates to a method, wherein the foam layers, foamed molded bodies, adhesive or sealing masses are produced, and foams on a silicon basis, which can be obtained from the polymer mixtures (A) according to the previous mentioned method.

摘要： A method and apparatus for placing an item of food into a cooking vessel capable of quickly achieving an effective frying temperature after placement into the hot cooking oil of a deep fryer is disclosed. The vessel includes a food containment area where food is placed in intimate contact with an interior wall of the vessel. Using a rack, the vessel is submerged into the oil to an effective depth such that the food item containment area remains below the surface of the cooking oil in the deep fryer while a vent of the cooking vessel remains above the cooking oil surface. Heat is substantially instantaneously transferred from the oil through the cooking vessel to the food item contained therein, causing the food to fry. Steam emitted from the food during cooking escapes through the vent.

The modulation signal includes a first encoded modulation signal perturbed by encoded perturbations, the first encoded modulation signal being produced from a first data string. The encoded perturbations are produced from a second data string. The modulation signal modulates the radio frequency signals to transfer data representative of the first and second data strings simultaneously between the reader and the tag. The modulation signal modulates the amplitude, phase, frequency or any combination of the radio frequency carrier signals.

The reward markers are arranged to be releasably secured to the board and represent a real-world reward that can be acquired by the child who accumulates a sufficient number of tickets equaling a redemption value of the reward marker. The bank is assigned to the child for receipt of acquired tokens and can be opened to remove the tokens for redemption so that the child may claim the real-world reward represented by the reward marker.

The preferred pump includes four bearing caps that can be removed without removing the pump from its mounted position. By removing the four bearing caps, access is gained inside the pump housing to all of the seals, bearings, bushing/seal housings, choke collars and most importantly, the drive and idler shafts within the pump housing. Further, the two shafts can be slipped out of the pump without disturbing the internal parts and endplates. This capability facilitates maintenance and replacement of major components without removing the pump from its mounted position.

摘要： A multi-protocol RFID interrogating system employs a synchronization technique (step-lock) for a backscatter RFID system that allows simultaneous operation of closely spaced interrogators. The multi-protocol RFID interrogating system can communicate with backscatter transponders having different output protocols and with active transponders including: Title 21 compliant RFID backscatter transponders; IT2000 RFID backscatter transponders that provide an extended mode capability beyond Title 21; EGO™ RFID backscatter transponders, SEGO™ RFID backscatter transponders; ATA, ISO, ANSI AAR compliant RFID backscatter transponders; and IAG compliant active technology transponders. The system implements a step-lock operation, whereby adjacent interrogators are synchronized to ensure that all downlinks operate within the same time frame and all uplinks operate within the same time frame, to eliminate downlink on uplink interference.
