摘要： A system for tamper detection includes a security device and a data device. The security device has a first portion disposable on a first side of a separation boundary of a separable object, and a second portion disposable on a second side of the separation boundary. The security device further includes a first Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) circuit configured to provide a first return signal. The data device includes a microprocessor and system memory, an RFID reader and a radio antenna. The data device is configured to send and receive radio frequency signals with the first RFID circuit, and to recognize the first return signal as indicating an untampered condition of the separable object.

The tag is affixed to the container in such a way that the tag is destroyed upon opening of the container, thereby indicating fraud upon scanning. The tag may be affixed to the container by an adhesive strip, polymer film or wax composition. The tag may be affixed to an adhesive strip prior to application of the strip to a container. Two tags on the container or strip may be cryptographically linked. The tag information is accessible through a scanning device which communicates with a database that stores information about the container and analyzes the probability of fraud with an algorithm.

摘要： An inventory protection system has a plurality of cable segments with connectors on the ends thereof. The connectors permit pairs of cable segments to be releasably mechanically and electrically connectable to one another to form a continuous cable loop. A circuit connected to the cable loop periodically generates a test signal in the cable loop and checks to see if the test signal is able to travel all the way around the cable loop. The circuit generates an alarm signal if the test signal cannot travel all the way around the cable loop.

摘要： An anti-theft device for monitoring connection between a male plug and a female receptacle. The male plug has a sheath enclosing a plurality of conductive pins. The sheath contains a tongue having a first retracted configuration when the male plug is outside the female receptacle and a second displaced configuration when the male plug is inserted in the female receptacle. In the second displaced configuration, the tongue engages at two conductive pins, thereby creating a closed electric circuit. An alarm module monitors the electric current flow within the electric circuit, and responsive to detecting an interruption in the electric current flow, the alarm module transmits an alarm signal.

摘要： An enclosed security system includes a metal cage with security panel affixed thereto, forming a vault in which an item of value is enclosed. The security panels include a series of fiber optic security cables, preferably arranged in a sinusoidal pattern with nested fiber loops for added security. The cage preferably includes the security panels on the sides, front, top and door to form the vault enclosure. Fiber optical sensor cables are routed through the tubular frame members to a control box. An optical security tether may optionally be connected between the control box and a protected asset. The tether preferably comprises a jacketed fiber optic cable with internal strength member, surrounded by a metallic armored flex sheath. Any breakage or disconnection of the fiber optic cables within the panels or tether from the control box is detected by the monitor, causing an alert signal.
