The handling alert apparatus includes a housing connected to an article of merchandise. The handling alert apparatus includes a handling sensor configured to detect when a customer handles the article of merchandise. Responsive to detecting handling of the article of merchandise, the housing outputs a visual, audible, or wireless notification alert. The alert remains active until an authorized user prepares the article of merchandise for subsequent customer interaction and deactivates the alert by using a wireless controller or manually operating a designated deactivation button or switch.

摘要： An anti-theft device for securing an article of merchandise against unauthorized removal from a display counter. The anti-theft device includes a plurality of arms slidingly disposed within the housing. Grips are disposed on proximal ends of the arms and are configured to receive and secure edges of an article of merchandise. A locking mechanism is disposed within the housing of the anti-theft device. Complimentary teeth are disposed on the locking component and the arms. An actuator transitions the locking components between a first unlocked configuration in which the teeth of the locking components are retracted away from the teeth of the arms, and a second locked configuration in which the teeth of the locking components engage the teeth of the arms.

摘要： An anti-theft device for monitoring Type C USB connector. An alarm module has a first terminal and a second terminal. A male plug has a first conductive member in electrical communication with the first terminal and a second conductive member in electrical communication with the second terminal. When the male plug is positioned within the receptacle, a closed electric circuit forms between the first and second conductive members. The alarm module supplies an electric current to the first terminal and monitors the electric current flowing to the second terminal. Responsive to detecting an interruption in the electric current flowing between the first and the second terminals, the alarm module transmits an alarm signal.

A primary coil for electromagnetic field coupling is disposed within the mounting member and in electrical communication with the at least one conductor of the cable assembly. The primary coil forms an electromagnetic field coupling with a secondary coil within the inductively charged electronic device so as to inductively convey energy for charging a rechargeable battery. In an alternate embodiment, the primary coil is disposed in a base member.

摘要： A communication connector with analog coupling circuit and a mechanical coupling circuit used for providing security to electronic devices. The analog circuit includes a male plug with an outer shell and tongue shell. Between the outer shell and tongue is a thin layer of non-conductive material to prevent the closure of a circuit. Two separate conductors are wired through the USB body; one attaching to the outer shell and the other attaching to the tongue. A closed circuit is created when the male USB is placed into a female receptor. The mechanical circuit creates a closed circuit when the plunger switch becomes compressed. There is a security monitor system connected to an end of the two conductors, which sound an alarm when circuit is opened. The alarm will sound if a thief attempts to steal the article either by cutting the wire or removal of the plug.

Alternatively, the security device may include a cable that extends about the hinge and is secured in an anchor assembly. A tether or cable attaches the security devices to an object to permit the hinged product to be moved over a limited distance. The security device also is connected to an alarm system so that removal or tampering with the band or cable activates the alarm. Filaments and contacts may also be used to detect the presence of the band within the second anchor assembly. An indicator may also provide notice when the security device is armed and/or tampered with.

摘要： An anti-theft device having an inductive charging coil for wirelessly powering an article of merchandise. A retention member is configured to be attached to the merchandise. A pedestal configured to removably support the retention member. Complementary contacts on the retention member and the pedestal are configured to provide electrical power from the pedestal to the inductive charging coil, when the retention member is at rest on the pedestal. The retention member has an optical transmitter configured to communicate optical signals to an optical sensor. When the article of merchandise requests power increase, the optical transmitter emits a corresponding optical signal, which causes a control unit to increase an output voltage of a power supply supplying power to the electrical contacts of the pedestal. In this manner, an optical communication channel is used to increase the power wirelessly provided from the inductive charging coil to the merchandise.
