    • A surface modifier for a transparent oxide electrode contains a reactive silyl compound represented by General Formula (1): Rf—X-A-SiR13-n(OR2)n  (1) in which, Rf is an aryl group having 10 or fewer carbon atoms that may have an alkyl substituent having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, wherein at least one hydrogen atom is replaced with a fluorine atom, X represents a divalent group selected from —O—, —NH—, —C(═O)O—, —C(═O)NH—, —OC(═O)NH—, —NHC(═O)NH—, or a single bond, A represents a straight chain, branched chain or cyclic aliphatic divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, an aromatic divalent hydrocarbon group, or a single bond, a surface-modified transparent oxide electrode formed by coating with the surface modifier. A method for producing a surface-modified transparent oxide electrode is also provided.

    • The present invention relates to a terminal structure. The terminal structure includes: a terminal having: a conductor layer containing at least one metal selected from gold, silver, and copper; a first layer containing nickel and phosphorus, laid on the conductor layer; a second layer having a smaller atomic ratio of nickel to phosphorus than the first layer and containing Ni3P, laid on the first layer; a third layer containing a first intermetallic compound of an Ni—P—Sn type, laid on the second layer; and a fourth layer containing a second intermetallic compound of an Ni—Cu—Sn type, laid on the third layer; and a solder layer on the fourth layer of the terminal. Ra2 is larger than Ra1, where Ra1 is a surface roughness of the third layer on the second layer side and Ra2 is a surface roughness of the third layer on the fourth layer side.

    • A portable grid for creating an equipotential zone that comprises at least two portable conductive elements. Each element comprises an electrically conducting platform forming a separation barrier with a working surface such as a ground surface. The elements may be joined electrically and mechanically. By joining multiple such elements, a variable size equipotential zone can be created. The portability of the zone is ensured as the zone can be disassembled to individual elements that can be carried and stored by the workers.
