    • The invention relates to a method (1) for configuring a reconfigurable antenna system (100). The method (1) comprises the following steps: a) selecting one or more groups of antenna configurations in a reference set of antenna configurations; and b) selecting one or more antenna configurations to be tested for each group of antenna configurations, which has been selected at the previous step a); and c) evaluating the radiating performance of said reconfigurable antenna system (100) for each antenna configuration, which has been selected at the previous step b), the radiating performance of said reconfigurable antenna system being evaluated on the base of estimation values that are calculated during one or more testing sessions of said reconfigurable antenna system; and d) selecting the optimal antenna configuration, for which said reconfigurable antenna system (100) has provided the best radiating performance during said testing sessions; and e) if the group of antenna configurations, to which said optimal antenna configuration belongs, comprises only said optimal antenna configuration, configuring said antenna elements (101) according to said optimal antenna configuration; or f) if the group of antenna configurations, to which said optimal antenna configuration belongs, comprises a plurality of antenna configurations, selecting said group of antenna configuration as new reference set of antenna configurations; and g) repeating the previous steps (a)-(d) for said new reference set of antenna configurations.

    • A system is provided comprising a single wireless cell configured to operate in a packet-switched cellular network, the single wireless cell including: a first transmission point with a multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) capability; a second transmission point with a MIMO capability; and third circuitry in communication with first circuitry of the first transmission point and second circuitry of the second transmission point. The single wireless cell is configured such that the first transmission point cooperates with the second transmission point in connection with a first transmission to a MIMO-capable portable wireless device, for improving the first transmission. The single wireless cell is further configured for: receiving first information from the first MIMO-capable portable wireless device; receiving second information from the first MIMO-capable portable wireless device; altering at least one aspect of the first transmission; and transmitting data in connection with the first transmission to the first MIMO-capable portable wireless device.

    • A test device and method for performing a plurality of tests on a DUT, comprising a memory storing configuration data for the plurality of tests, said configuration data defining parameters for at least one list of receive tests; an RF signal generator; an RF signal analyser; and a test sequencer for executing the tests. The test sequencer configures the test device for execution of each list of receive tests, whereby, for each test: the RF signal analyser is arranged to receive a command signal from the DUT, the test sequencer is arranged to retrieve from the memory configuration data for the next test to be executed based on the command signal and to configure the RF signal generator using the configuration data; the RF signal generator is arranged to transmit a test signal to the DUT according to the configuration data.
