    • The present invention provides a nano-precision sintering system 1 for sintering a nano-sized powder of a material in the pulse energization and pressure sintering process to obtain a highly purified sintered compact having a nano-sized grain structure, said nano-precision sintering system 1 comprising: at least one pre-process chamber 20 defined by at least one sealed housing 21 having at least one glove and designed to be controlled into a predetermined atmosphere; a sintering process chamber 30 defined by a sealed housing 31 having at least one glove and designed to be controlled into a predetermined atmosphere; a shut-off system 26 disposed in a passage providing communication between the pre-process chamber and the sintering process chamber so as to block the communication between the two chambers selectively while keeping it in an air tight condition; and a pulse energization and pressure sintering machine 50 having a vacuum chamber “C” allowing for the sintering process to be carried out under a vacuum atmosphere, wherein the vacuum chamber is disposed in the sintering process chamber such that the former can be isolated from the latter.

    • This disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for implementing online sales in an environment on a network, which is provided by a creator, without putting any load on the creator. A creator-side apparatus transmits a content that forms merchandise and merchandise information about its output medium to a support-side apparatus. The support-side apparatus makes the merchandise information correspond to an address that indicates a location on the network and transmits the address to the creator-side apparatus as an address where an order for the merchandise should be received. The creator-side apparatus sends data containing the address to the network to which an orderer-side apparatus is connected such that the orderer-side apparatus accepts connection to the location. The support-side apparatus executes merchandise order reception processing when the orderer-side apparatus is connected to the location and requests an output system to execute output processing based on the merchandise information.

    • Encrypted communications are performed between private networks over a wide-area network (e.g., the Internet) by way of routers, each of which includes a management table for storing entries including identifiers and control parameters. Uplink control connections are established between routers so as to mutually communicate and update stored contents of management tables therebetween. Updated stored contents of management tables are subjected to publication to other routers. Alternatively, stored contents of management tables are periodically subjected to publication to other routers. Thus, it is possible for operations managers to reduce manual operations for setting up control parameters in management tables of routers.

    • In a discharge lamp driving circuit comprising: a transformer having one end of a discharge lamp connected to one end of the secondary side thereof; a current-voltage converting circuit provided at the other end of the discharge lamp and functioning to convert a lamp current to a voltage; and a lamp current controlling pattern provided at the other end of the discharge lamp, there is provided a discharge detecting pattern at a grounding end of the secondary side of the transformer so as to be located close to and in parallel with the lamp current controlling pattern, whereby a voltage induced in the discharge detecting pattern is detected, and the supply of electric power to the secondary side of the transformer is stopped. Thus, the discharge lamp driving circuit is deactivated when a discharge occurs at the wiring at the secondary side of the high-voltage transformer.
