摘要： A switch apparatus has a fixed contact including a contact pattern formed on a printed substrate and a movable contact provided above and opposing the fixed contact. A switching operation is performed by engaging the movable contact with the fixed contact. The fixed contact pattern has a first pair of fixed contacts and a second pair of fixed contacts. The fixed contact patterns are separated by a predetermined distance from one another. The movable contact has a first movable contact and a second movable contact for engagement with the first and the second pairs of fixed contacts, respectively. One of the first pair of fixed contacts and one of the second pair of fixed contacts are formed in a unit to define a common pattern. Only the common pattern is disposed between the other of the first pair of fixed contacts and the other of the second pair of fixed contacts.

摘要： A sheet-like switch is disclosed in which the migration of silver can be prevented without requiring the provision of an overcoat. An upper electrode sheet is formed by disposing upper contacts and upper conductive patterns electrically connected to each other on an insulating sheet. A lower electrode sheet is formed by disposing lower contacts and lower conductive patterns electrically connected to each other on an insulating sheet. The upper and lower electrode sheets are stacked on each other across a spacer film provided with a hole. The upper and lower contacts are placed to opposedly face each other within the hole, and the upper and lower conductive patterns located within the hole are extended to the exterior in different directions, so that the upper and lower conductive patterns positioned on the peripheral portion of the hole can be prevented from overlapping each other across the spacer film in the upward and downward direction. Further, the length along the peripheral portion of the hole defined between the upper and lower conductive patterns positioned on the peripheral portion may preferably be 0.5 mm or greater.

摘要： The capability of heat dissipation from the contact surface of a magnetic switch for a starter motor is improved without increasing the fabrication cost. A punch 28 having a plurality of square projections arranged in two mutually perpendicular directions at the pitch of P is applied to the surface of a plate member 27 to form a first group of punched recesses 29a. The pitch P is twice the length of a side of each punched recess 29a. Then, the punch 28 is shifted with respect to the first group of punched recesses 29 by P/2 in both the vertical and horizontal directions before forming a second group of punched recesses 29b. The punched recesses 29a and 29b define projections 26 in the parts which are not occupied by these recesses generally in the pattern of a checker board. Because the projections 26 are separated from each other, and can effectively dissipate heat therefrom, the increase in the contact resistance due to heat generation can be prevented, and the efficiency of the starter motor can be increased by using a punching process which is both simple and economical.

摘要： A printed circuit board includes a wiring pattern formed on an insulating board according to a predetermined electric circuit, and a cover member covering a portion of the wiring pattern used as a contact, the cover member being formed of an electrically conductive and non-solderable material. Due to the presence of the covering member, the wiring pattern portion is not covered with solder when the printed circuit board is subjected to dip soldering to attach various electric components to the printed circuit board. Since the covering member is electrically conductive, the wiring pattern portion can readily be used as a contact when the dip soldering is completed.
