摘要： An electrical receptacle connector includes a terminal module, an inner metallic shell, an outer insulation frame, and an outer metallic shell. The terminal module is assembled with the inner metallic shell and the outer insulation frame, the outer metallic shell is formed on the outer insulation frame, and the outer metallic shell is in contact with the inner metallic shell. The connector is provided with the outer insulation frame so as to prevent water moist entering into the other end of the outer insulation frame from one end of the outer insulation frame having the insertion opening. In addition, the outer metallic shell is formed on the outer insulation frame to improve the structural strength of the connector. Moreover, the outer metallic shell and the inner metallic shell are soldered with each other through the grooves of the outer insulation frame.

An upper surface of the cable tray is configured to receive the cable. The cable tray also includes a finger extending beyond the first end for some distance longitudinally. The finger includes a protrusion that protrudes to some extent in a transverse direction so that a cable-accommodating gap is defined between the protrusion and the first end. The protrusion is configured to bear against the cable and retain the cable in the stable position when the cable is inserted between the protrusion and the first end (before, during and/or after an electrical connection is established).

Each conductor set has two differential signal pair conductors between a first ground conductor and a second ground conductor. A first ground shield has a first tab bent inward that extends into the slot from a first side of the lead frame. The terminal module comprises a grounding terminal for a grounding connection via the apparatus housing or a grounding wire of the electrical apparatus and a plurality of signal terminals for supplying electrical current from the cable to the electrical apparatus. The metal shielding member comprises a clamping portion adapted to clamp and electrically contact the metal braid layer and an elastic terminal electrically contacting the grounding terminal.
