摘要： In a LTE-based wireless communication system having neighboring first and second cells a first user in the first cell may experience significant interference from downlink transmissions in the second cell. Such interference can be reduced by selecting a precoder for downlink transmission to a second user in the first cell which will result in reduced interference to the first user after the first user is handed-over to be served by the second cell. The method involves selecting, among a plurality of users in the first cell, the second user to receive the precoded downlink transmissions using the selected precoder. The second user is chosen so as to satisfy a measure of suitability using the selected interference-reducing precoder. Taken together, the choice in the first cell of precoder and second user (UEA) result in reduced inter-cell interference.

摘要： A system may comprise circuitry that includes a sequence estimation circuit and a non-linearity modeling circuit. The circuitry may be operable to receive a single-carrier signal that was generated by passage of symbols through a partial response filter and through a non-linear circuit. The circuitry may be operable to generate estimated values of the symbols using the sequence estimation circuit and using the non-linearity modeling circuit. An output of the non-linearity modeling circuit may be equal to a corresponding input of the non-linearity modeling circuit modified according to a non-linear model that approximates the non-linearity of the non-linear circuit through which the received signal passed.

A scale value indicating a rate of increase or reduction of the received signal or a threshold change rate indicating a degree of change in the decision threshold is updated so that an appearance frequency of each of symbols included in the tentative decision signal matches an appearance frequency of each of symbols in a reference signal obtained by modulating a transmitted signal with a modulation method used in transmission which is shared between a transmitting side and a receiving side, and an SN ratio is calculated using the scale value or the threshold change rate when a degree of agreement between the appearance frequencies is within a predetermined permissible range. When the scale value is updated, a tentative decision is made for the symbols on the basis of the received signal increased or reduced by the updated scale value and the decision threshold, and when the threshold change rate is updated, the tentative decision for the symbols is made on the basis of the received signal and the decision threshold to which the updated threshold change rate is applied.

The selection unit is connected to the plurality of channels, selects two channels from among the plurality of channels, provides a test signal to the selected two channels, and receives a test result signal from the selected two channels. The power detector detects power of the selected two channels. The analog-to-digital converter performs an A/D conversion on an output of the power detector. The calibrator calibrates the phases and the gains between the plurality of channels based on an output of the analog-to-digital converter. One of the plurality of channels is set as a reference channel, phases and gains of remaining channels other than the reference channel among the plurality of channels are sequentially optimized based on the reference channel, and a phase and a gain of the reference channel is optimized.
