    • A speed reduction mechanism is provided to a strap supporting post having a winding mechanism capable of automatically winding a strap around it; the reduction mechanism includes a rotary member turnable together with the winding mechanism, and a stationary member secured to on top of the post; the rotary member has rubbing bars pivoted to a middle part thereof; the rubbing bars are biased towards the middle part by tension springs; centrifugal force will act on the rubbing bars when the winding mechanism rotates after the strap has been released from stretched position; the rubbing bars are pivoted towards the stationary member when speed of rotation of the winding mechanism is so high that the centrifugal force is greater than force of the tension springs, thus slowing down rotation of the winding mechanism, and preventing the free end of the strap from swing too fast.

    • A foldable road marker is formed of a pair of panels each having a central stem portion integrally connected with side panel portions. The panels each having an elongated slot with the stem portion and slots being coaxial. Each stem portion is fitted within the slot of the opposite panel for interconnecting the panels. The panels are pivotable relative to each other into a position in which they are transverse to each other or, alternatively, into a folded position in which they are generally parallel and closely overlap to each other for storage. Guide members are formed in the slots of each of the panels for slideably fitting within vertically arranged guide channels formed in the stem portions of their opposite panel for guiding the assembly of, and the positions of, the panels relative to each other. Detents are provided for holding the panels in their transverse position for marker use or, alternatively, in their folded, parallel storage position. The upper ends of the panels are provided with seats for mounting signaling devices, such as lights and the like. A ring-like, removable base may be provided to encircle the lower end of the transversely arranged panels for stabilizing and supporting the lower ends of the panels upon a road surface.

The motor can be operated by alternating current or direct current to provide the user with flexibility and allow the barrier to be operated either by direct wire to an electrical source or by one or more batteries or recharging solar cells, and used in remote places where there is no access to electrical power.

    • A plastic fence post for use in electric fences, which can be quickly and easily adjusted in height to permit changes in the height of the fence, and which can be used with different types of fence strands. The fence post includes an elongated, T-shaped plastic lower post member having one end adapted for insertion into the ground and an opposite end having a T-shaped slot formed therein. A plastic upper member, which can either be an upper fence post or a post cap, includes a T-shaped tongue extending therefrom that is secured within the T-shaped slot so as to secure the upper member to the lower post member. A pin extends through aligned holes in the end of the lower post member and the T-shaped tongue in order to fasten the upper and lower members together. The height of the fence can be increased by disposing the tongue of the upper fence post within the T-shaped slot, and using the pin to secure the posts together. When the height of the fence post assembly is not to be increased, the fence post cap is disposed within the T-shaped slot and secured by the pin. In each embodiment, the T-shaped slot, T-shaped tongue, and pin provide a fast and easy way to permit adjustments to the height of the fence.

    • Disclosed is a non-loose hardware type traffic separating median barrier comprising having a male interlocking structure on one end and a female interlocking structure on the other end. In a preferred embodiment, the male interlocking structure comprises a "T" section extending from the end of the barrier and the female interlocking structure comprises a vertically extending steel tube with a slot in the external portion thereof. The "T" section of one barrier can be vertically engaged with the slot and tube section of an adjacent barrier so as to interlock the barriers together. In a preferred embodiment, reinforcing bars lock the interlocking structures into their respective barriers and, in a further preferred embodiment, reinforcing bar serves to interlock the male and female interlocking structures of a single barrier.

    • A traffic collar cone has a delineator having a reflection sheet attached on its upper part.
