    • An electric fence insulator is formed as a flexible band of material with an opening along a lateral periphery. The band is flexed to position around the perimeter of a fence post along a length of the fence post as determined by the length of the insulator. The insulator provides electrical insulation between an electrically energized fence wire and a point of contact of the wire with a grounded fence post. The insulator includes a fastener at the opening to close to a secure position using a simple clipping motion after the insulating band is positioned on the fence post at a selected height. The insulator forms a minimal lever arm between the fence post and the energized wire. The insulator may be retrofitted to existing installations with fence wire already installed without a need to access the fence post from the top to the section requiring electrical insulation.

    • A fence post construction provides a method for notch-supporting mesh fencing. The fence post construction is constructed from a load-bearing material and has a post axis, an upper post end, and a lower post end. The material construction is formed to include laterally opposed wing portions extending outwardly relative to the post axis, each of which preferably include a series of laterally paired notch arrangements. Each notch arrangement is T-shaped, and provide an upper notch portion, a lower notch portion collinear with the upper notch portion, a stem notch portion orthogonal to the upper and lower notch portions, a downwardly extending upper wing arm, and an upwardly extending lower wing arm. the lower notch portion and lower wing arm are preferably at least twice the length of the upper notch portion and upper wing arm relative to the stem portion.

    • A first and second of fence post bracket is provided that function together to secure a wire fence to a T-post fence post. The brackets comprise a complimentary bracket pair that secure a portion of wire fence to a T-post and utilize existing T-post lugs and T-post flanges as support. Each bracket comprises an upstanding portion having a fastener aperture, and a hook end with an open notch. The base of the bracket extends substantially perpendicular to the upstanding portion and includes a U-shaped fitting. The fitting is configured to wrap around the exposed outer edge of a T-post flange, while the upstanding portion is configured to extend away from the post between two T-post lugs. The two brackets are fastened together to provide an enclosed area between the bracket notches and the post, wherethrough a portion of the wire fence is supported.
