摘要： Fence posts for constructing a wire fence, fence stays, and methods for constructing a wire fence are provided. The fence posts include a stem portion having a front edge and a rear portion or flange. Receiving apertures are disposed in the stem portion of each fence post. The receiving apertures each include a slot portion and a retaining portion. The slot portion can taper from a relatively wide opening along the front edge of the fence post to a relatively narrow portion at an intersection between the slot portion and the retaining portion. The retaining portion is formed as an arc centered on the slot portion. The fence posts additionally include a base portion configured to be received in the ground. Fence stays, configured with receiving apertures like those of the fence posts, but without base portions, are also provided.

摘要： A railing support post with threaded holes or receivers for receiving threaded hardware, such as might be used for tensioned cable railing. A decorative sleeve or post cover may be used to at least partially enclose the railing support post. The railing support post may be manufactured, for example, by providing an elongated member of a prescribed length, drilling a plurality of holes spaced along the length of the elongated member, and tapping the plurality of holes to form a plurality of threaded receivers. The threaded receivers are configured to receive rail fittings or other fittings.

摘要： A fence post having an eyelet with wire capture structure to capture a fence wire passing through the fence post and prevent it from escaping once the fence post has been inserted into the ground. Tension is applied to the fence wire during insertion of the fence posit into the ground, the wire being restrained from passing through the eyelet once the lock bar has been allowed to fall into a closed position. This then ensures that each length of wire is restrained in place under tension.

摘要： An electric fence insulator is formed as a flexible band of material with an opening along a lateral periphery. The band is flexed to position around the perimeter of a fence post along a length of the fence post as determined by the length of the insulator. The insulator provides electrical insulation between an electrically energized fence wire and a point of contact of the wire with a grounded fence post. The insulator includes a fastener at the opening to close to a secure position using a simple clipping motion after the insulating band is positioned on the fence post at a selected height. The insulator forms a minimal lever arm between the fence post and the energized wire. The insulator may be retrofitted to existing installations with fence wire already installed without a need to access the fence post from the top to the section requiring electrical insulation.

摘要： A first and second of fence post bracket is provided that function together to secure a wire fence to a T-post fence post. The brackets comprise a complimentary bracket pair that secure a portion of wire fence to a T-post and utilize existing T-post lugs and T-post flanges as support. Each bracket comprises an upstanding portion having a fastener aperture, and a hook end with an open notch. The base of the bracket extends substantially perpendicular to the upstanding portion and includes a U-shaped fitting. The fitting is configured to wrap around the exposed outer edge of a T-post flange, while the upstanding portion is configured to extend away from the post between two T-post lugs. The two brackets are fastened together to provide an enclosed area between the bracket notches and the post, wherethrough a portion of the wire fence is supported.
