A method of measuring interference of neighboring cells comprises allocating one or more first resource elements, to which pilot signals are allocated, to predetermined symbol regions included in a first resource block; allocating one or more second resource elements for measuring interference of the neighboring cells to a first symbol region of the predetermined symbol regions; and measuring interference of the neighboring cells using the one or more second resource elements.

摘要： A method performed by a first device for estimating a radio channel between the first device and a second device in a telecommunications system is provided. The first device receives common pilot signals and demodulation signals over the radio channel in transmissions from the second device. Then, the first device estimates the radio channel based on the common pilot signals and the demodulation pilot signals and determines the radio channel based on the common pilot signals and the demodulation pilot signals. A first device for estimating a radio channel between the first device and a second device in a telecommunications system is also described.

摘要： Burst throttling methods may be used manage computing resources of a data storage service. Tokens may represent I/O operations executed by a customer of the data storage service. A global token bucket may contain a set of tokens representing the overall I/O operation capacity of the data storage service. Additionally, a work token bucket may contain a set of tokens for a given logical volume maintained by the data storage service. When I/O request are received the data storage service may determine if the I/O request is a member of a sequence and removed a reduced number for tokens from the work token bucket as a result. Furthermore, if there is sufficient capacity the data storage service may charge a reduced number of tokens to the work token bucket.

摘要： In embodiments of the present disclosure systems and methods implementing base station replacement in an ad hoc LTE system are described. In embodiments, an ad-hoc replacement cellular LTE base transceiver station connects to the back haul network and to a base transceiver station replacement computing facility. The base transceiver station replacement computing facility provisions the replacement cellular LTE base transceiver station with the same parameters as those of a first cellular LTE base transceiver station to which a plurality of mobile devices are connected, except for the cell identifier. The first cellular LTE base transceiver station reduces its transmit power while the replacement cellular LTE base transceiver station increases its transmit power, and each of the plurality of mobile devices are handed over from the first cellular LTE base transceiver station to the replacement cellular LTE base transceiver station when power levels and RF propagation characteristics of the first and the replacement cellular transceiver stations determine appropriate handover conditions exist based on a predetermined algorithm, wherein the replacing of the cellular LTE base transceiver station is complete when all of the plurality of mobile transceiver devices are handed over to the replacement cellular LTE base transceiver station, and the first cellular LTE base transceiver station can removed from service.

摘要： There is provided a method for optimizing the configuration of an optical network which is adapted to transport optical traffic along a path from a source node to a destination node, wherein the path can be routed via any one or more of a plurality of intermediate nodes in the optical network. The method comprises the steps of receiving an operating parameter of an optical device monitored in a plurality of nodes. The received operating parameter is compared with a threshold value. An operating status of a node is determined based on the comparison of the received operating parameter with the threshold value. The determined operating status of a node is used as a routing criteria for computing a path for routing traffic through the optical network.
