    • Systems, devices, methods, and computer-readable mediums for generating a radio map of an area are disclosed. In one aspect, the device, method, and computer-readable medium perform processes that may include receiving in at least one processor first information associated with at least one wireless device at a first location in the area. The processes may include receiving in the at least one processor second information associated with at least one wireless device at a second location in the area and different from the first location. The first location within said area and the second location within the area are unknown to the at least one processor. The processes may also include generating a radio map of the area using the first information and the second information.

    • A wireless location system has at least one wireless tag to be located by the wireless location system, wherein the at least one wireless tag transmits two wireless signals having a known time relationship and having different bandwidths. A plurality of receivers is provided wherein a first receiver receives and processes a first of the two wireless signals and estimates a time to arrive (TOA) of the first wireless signal, and a second receiver receives and processes a second of the two wireless signals and estimates a TOA of the second wireless signal at the second transceiver. The plurality of receivers is time synchronized based on a common timing signal. A location server is coupled to each of the plurality of receivers. The location server receives the TOA of the first wireless signal from the first receiver and the TOA of the second wireless signal from the second receiver. The location server calculating a TDOA of the two wireless signals and estimates a position of the at least one wireless tag based on the TDOA.

    • This invention provides the data network user with an interactive search engine environment that helps him focus on the object of his search. Through a powerful graphical user interface (GUI), the user is provided with terms closely related to what he is looking for, even when he has no prior knowledge of the subject or its terminology. The user is also provided with suggested terms that should be excluded from the search because of the high probability of interfering with the search. The contribution of each term to the search progress is explained to the user. The invention then enables the user to build complex queries combining the related terms in a visual and simple way that facilitates the search process and saves time. This invention allows the user to create a detailed, precise, and longer search query then is customarily executed today.

    • A wireless network has at least one wireless unit which transmits messages in multiple channels. The messages are synchronously transmitted using a transmit clock signal. The at least one wireless unit starting transmission of the messages at intervals consisting of at least one of one or multiple periods of the transmit clock signal. A plurality of location receivers are used for receiving the messages at different channels transmitted by the wireless units within the wireless network and determining a time of arrival for the received messages. At least one master unit is used for receiving the time of arrival from each of the location units. The location of the wireless unit is to be determined on the Time Difference Of Arrival (TDOA) of the transmitted messages at the location units.
