摘要： A source virtual machine (VM) disk file associated with a VM is parsed to generate metadata representing files stored in a virtual storage device of the VM, where the VM is one of VMs hosted by a VM monitor (VMM). In response to a request for an incremental backup of files stored in the source VM disk file, a file attribute of each of the files is examined based on the metadata to identify one or more files that have been modified within a predetermined past period of time. File records associated with the identified files are determined based on the metadata that have been modified within the predetermined past period of time. The identified file records are then backed up from the source VM disk file to a target VM disk file, without having to back up unmodified files in the source VM disk file.

The case is able to be retrieved from storage for easy hand carriage in an aircraft/cabin for rapid deployment to any location inside it wherein a fire caused by batteries such as a Lithium Ion battery used in Personal Electronic Devices (PED) has erupted and to be able to enclose the PED fire inside the unit, and discharge into the unit, the fire extinguisher through ports such that the infused extinguishing medium would rapidly envelop the PED on fire inside the flight case while simultaneously allowing the egress of the initial smoke into containing flexible bags and equalizing the displaced volume being replaced by the extinguishing medium thus maintaining a pressurized environment, to chemically interact with and suppress the fire.

According to one embodiment, a source virtual machine (VM) disk file associated with a VM is parsed to generate metadata representing files stored in a virtual storage device of the VM, where the VM is one of one or more VMs hosted by a VM monitor (VMM). In response to a request to back up a subdirectory of one or more files stored in the source VM disk file, file records of the one or more files of the requested subdirectory are identified based on the metadata.
