    • A portable electronic equipment (1) has an autostereoscopic display (11), a sensor device (2), and a controller (6, 7). The autostereoscopic display (11) comprises a display panel and an image directing device. The sensor device (2) is configured to capture distance information indicative of a distance of a user from the autostereoscopic display (11) and a direction in which the user is positioned. The controller (6, 7) is coupled to the autostereoscopic display (11) to control the display panel (12) and the image directing device based on the distance information and/or direction informa-tion. The controller (6, 7) is configured to compute plural images to be output based on the distance information, to control the display panel to output the computed plural images, and to control the image directing device based on the distance information and/or direction information.

    • A method and apparatus is described for providing a camera accessory to a wireless mobile terminal in a wireless radiocommunication system. The wireless mobile terminal has an image data interface and a physical interface for detachably coupling the camera accessory thereto. One or more frames of image data is captured in the camera accessory and compressed according to one or more compression formats. The captured and compressed frames are transferred to the wireless mobile terminal over the image data interface. The camera accessory does not include a display. Image data is captured in a predetermined format including a CIF format. Still image frames are compressed using a JPEG format and an image stream is compressed using an MPEG format. The captured and compressed frames are transferred to the wireless mobile terminal over the image data interface using respective predetermined formats including RGB CIF, YUV CIF, JPEG, MPEG, and MPEG-4 with CIF to QCIF conversion format. The image data interface includes a wired interface and wherein the camera accessory derives a power supply from the wireless mobile terminal or includes a wireless interface.

    • The present invention relates to an optical measuring device for measuring physical quantities, comprising a measuring transducer and an evaluating electronic unit, interconnected by a light-transmitting system and photo-optic devices for coupling in light from a light source to the system, and for coupling out light from the system to photo-detector devices in the electronic unit. The measuring device comprises a first element for polarizing the light from the light source and a second element for polarizing the light to the photo-detector devices, the difference in the direction of polarization between the two polarizing elements being chosen so that light reflections in the system in and adjacent to the evaluating electronic unit are substantially blocked from the photo-detector devices by the second polarizing element.
